Could a ''prime'' Mike Tyson truly beat the Buster Douglas of February 11th 1990?

Douglas might've gotten more money if he rematched Tyson. But I agree Don King messed it up and Holyfield waited long enough. Still, I feel Tyson should've gotten his rematch.

No rematch clause though was there?? It can't be helped that Douglas lost to a superior fighting machine in Holyfield....

Yes, Holyfield waited long enough because originally he was a skinny
    light-heavy/cruiser chicken.He wasn't strong enough for a very early
heavyweight carrier but i think the PED helped him.

    And whose fault is that?

One of the more annoying aspects of boxing is denying a fighter credit because his opponent was too slack/lazy/arrogant/stupid/unprofessional/disrespectful to get themselves in proper fighting shape as if this somehow excuses a loss.

Tyson didn't respect Douglas or his title enough to train properly and he paid the price. That price being an all time ar se whopping by a 42-1 underdog fringe contender. He deserved everything he got and Douglas deserves full credit for a top notch display.

I am not disputing this but I find it bizarre that no one holds this excuse as just an excuse for lenni against McCall and rahman but it is strictly held as just an excuse for Tyson.

For the record Tyson gives douglas full credit for the victory claiming he came in unconditoned for a few fights in his career prior to douglas but douglas was the first got to literally take full advantage of it.

He wasn't over weight but his body fat was higher and his stamina was ****, Douglas really tested his conditioning with constantly, moving turning him around.

I think it is lost on you that a person can be poorly conditioned from a Stamina point of view even if he looks aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Here we go again spouting bullsh.it as usual, I proved you nuthuggers wrong when I posted videos of Tyson in Tokyo prior to the fight in good condition. Please don't be a nuthugging sheep like the rest of the idiots, research it yourself....
