Could a ''prime'' Mike Tyson truly beat the Buster Douglas of February 11th 1990?

The reason egotistical fools like you are so hilarious is you even manage to argue with yourselves.

Having previously written the following, in this very thread, and in fact on this very page.

    You then post the above.

You are a fool, who should log off and follow tiddlywinks. You make excuse after excuse for the ****** but are loathe to give Douglas credit.:nut:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

You create and partake in more Tyson threads than anyone else.

In fact, you bring him up in every post.

Could Douglas repeat the biggest upset in history?

    Hell no.

Everyone knew that Tyson never take this fight seriously. Back in 1990, Tyson was in a serious problem. He had just had a broken marriage. Not just that, he had a lot of other problems, such as his problem with Don King. The opposite, Douglas knew this might be his once in a lifetime title shot, so he trained hard and also dedicated this fight for his late mother. And if you recall, there was a video clip that Tyson was knocked down by his sparring partner. That showed that Tyson didn't train for this fight seriously.

As great as Tyson was, because he was in a lot of problem and didn't train for this fight, he lost. But, he wouldn't have, had his corner men didn't screw his up. They only carried a condom full of ice for his eyes. How is a boxer with closed eyes supposed to win? It's just crazy.

If anything, you just make yourself look stupid.

Then again, that's not that hard.

Douglas was in the best shape of his life. He rarely fought below 230 lbs. He came in a nick above 230 for Tyson.

Now, for the Holyfield fight, Douglas was fat and out of shape...over 245 lbs. He phoned that one in and took his 24 Million and ran.

Doesn't mean he came into the ring in better shape than Tyson does it? He was still a lard **** in Tokyo was he not?

Hate correcting you nuthuggers but Douglas weighed in at 231.5lb, so he wasn't in the best shape of his life was he? Two fights prior to Tyson Douglas weighed 226lb against Berbick, am I right or am I right??

You're back to the 'eye test'. We've been through that ad naseum.

No, I would not say Douglas was a "lard ass" in Tokyo. The fact he never gassed out and maintained a brisk pace the whole fight also tells me he was in good shape.

The Douglas who fought Holyfield in his next fight was somewhat of a lard ass , though.
