Could a ''prime'' Mike Tyson truly beat the Buster Douglas of February 11th 1990?

Next moronivich, can you explain to me how a not as focused and prime Tyson was able to visibly stun and hurt Douglas by your own admission... yet a prime Tyson wouldn't be able to do better?
