Could a ''prime'' Mike Tyson truly beat the Buster Douglas of February 11th 1990?

Douglas was under contract with king as his promoter,Holyfield simply through more money at him to fight,tyson was to fight holyfield anyway.With all the confusion I highly doubt douglas wanted Tyson over holyfield or he would have given the rematch.

 

You are beyond dumb, Holyfield was the #1 contender and signed to fight Tyson in June 1990. Douglas was the tuneup fight and spoiled Tinkerbells plans. Tyson did not have a rematch clause..

Try to wrap your brain around this:

Nobody in this thread has tried to say Tyson was grossly overweight for the Douglas fight.

What many have tried to explain to you, with no success due to the thickness of your cranium apparently being beyond that of a prime JC Chavez, is that merely being in decent fighting weight, as Tyson was, does not by itself mean he was in optimum physical and mental shape for the fight. Thus, the fact that he passes the 'eye test' does not mean he was in prime condition for the fight.

Prove he wasn't? See how that works you buffoon. Try taking a critical thinking course, it would certainly do you some good. Not sure if you have enough brain capacity to process what you're learning. Just doing what it takes to get on the internet and type here is taking up 95% of your capacity as is.
