Could a ''prime'' Mike Tyson truly beat the Buster Douglas of February 11th 1990?

Not sleeping properly before a bout will do you no favours ;)

A Prime Miket Tyson wipes the floor with Douglas. Let's face it he was undertrained, slightly past his prime and the victim of a blatant slow count so was the moral victor that night in Japan any how's.

    Yes.

There is no argument. Tyson faced plenty of Douglas-esque fighters in the 80's and handled them all, often easily. Why is it so hard to accept that the man simply slipped up in training and paid the price for it? It happened to plenty of other fighters.

Douglas-esque yet not quite Douglas. There's been plenty of "esque" fighters over the years that weren't the Real McCoy...

Douglas-esque fighters that were better than Douglas. Tucker, for one.

I don't think Tucker was better than Douglas even though he did beat him.

He almost managed to beat Douglas as is. Unless you think that Tyson was operating at his absolute peak in Tokyo (an opinion that no serious boxing fan could hold), there is no reason to think that he couldn't beat Douglas.
