Roger in prime? Most likely had threw more punches, yes.
Loma did almost nothing with Lopez all 6 first rounds.

 

One thing is for sure, Roger would not have fought the first half the fight like a female dog and of he lost he would have gone out like a man and warrior on his shield trying to win, not "fighting" like a scared little Ukrainian midget woman.

 

Not genetically but culturally. Per capita I guarantee you the Ukrainian Americans in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn(little Odessa) are tougher than their compatriots.

Excellent and insightful reply. If you ate Ukrainian I was by no means trying to pick on them and dump on them as a people. I have plenty of respect for Ukrainians and other eastern Europeans.

 

Roger wouldn't have been confused in any way what Lopez was up to. He would have known what his best chance was. I have no idea if he had what it took physically to deal with Lopez. Hard to tell across the years.
