James Toney did have a cast Iron jaw though and on top of that he was a skilled techinician.

He was in good shape when he fought Holyfield at his first fight at heavyweight so that's what we gotta go with and Holyfield couldn't even faze him. He laughed at holyfields best shots.

Definitely. Toney is a superb technician but this is Tyson we're talking about here; handspeed, combos, great conditioning, great power etc. No way Toney can stand up to that.

Toney has a great chin on top of his defence but there's a difference between taking a few of Sam Peter's cuffing club shots and Tysons hooks and uppercuts. I just can't see Toney surviving it. Especially given Toney has no where near enough power to worry Tyson or stop him overwhelming him. Also, Toney stands there flat footed and uses his upperbody/arms for defence - Tyson struggled against the exact opposite; people who moved, using their feet and reach to weaken/negate Tysons aggression and speed.

The only guys who stood toe to toe with Tyson were people like of Holyfield (top 10 ATG and physical freak with the heart of a lion) and people like Ruddock in the second fight who saw the final bell but got floored several times; he used his incredible power and strength to carry the fight. Toney doesnt have this attributes and wouldnt be able to take Tyson out of his comfort zone.

I'm not sure about a straight KO, but Tyson could definitely stop Toney.

Certainly can. They are the same size dimension of meaning: there is no advantage

Toney was weigh overweight by the time Peter got him. The toney that fought Holyfield destroys peter.

Tyson would destroy Toney in this fantasy match-up, Toney could maybe last 3 rounds due to his slickness, but not much longer than that.

I think the ref would step in before Toney was completely out.
