Could a prime Tyson knockout a in shape heavyweight James Toney

    Toney in his 03 form when he fought vasily and evander back to back would probably be the toney hes talking about. Toney was on a tear then.

    Holyfield never knocked Tyson out, it was a TKo stoppage in the 12th round because Tyson wasn't fighting back and pretty much had nothing in his gas tank by that point and Holyfield still couldn't drop him. Infact he never even hurt Tyson, it was Tyson's lack of fundamentals and scientific boxing style that he had when he was trained by Rooney, plus his stamina and second wind that failed him in that fight. Holyfield presented a good style matchup for him but it still doesn't your point based all the factors I just stated.

    Evander Dropped tyson in that fight though point being Douglas was not a powerful puncher neither was evander. Who did tyson knockout cold? didnt knock rudduck out cold didnt knock bruno out cold didnt knock tillis out cold didnt knock mitch green out cold didnt even touch bonecrusher smith so this is all so funny to me.

    Wow I was off by round, I forgot more about tyson than you ever knew, dumb ass. He dropped Tyson with a balance shot, Tyson was off balance. And if your dead tired with no legs, of course you gotta get rocked and wobbled, anybody would. And with that said he still couldn't knock Tyson out. And Tyson even said in his documentary that Holyfield never hurt him because he was seeing blackness from all the head butting Holyfield was doing, you'll probably comeback and say that never happened.

    And Buster Douglas is harder hitter than Holyfield and a much bigger man.

    Havent said anything that isnt true. The whole thing is can tyson knock james toney who has one of the best chins in boxing history out cold. When in his prime he didnt knock any of the elite competition out cold. Didnt knocked Tucker,Bruno,Tillis,green or smith out cold.

    Theres a big misconception here. Im not saying James would beat Tyson. Mike was a special fighter think hed accomplish special things had he not went to jail. But im not buying James Toney getting knocked out cold. James is a throwback and has great chin.
