Simon is strong enough and has a good enough chin that I think he could survive for quite some time if - if - he resolved not to try to win and employed spoiling tactics for pretty much the whole fight. He could shove Tyson back fairly easily (Simon was definitely stronger) and he could lean, clinch and smother with reasonable success. If he did this, and did it shamelessly, I think it would look a lot like the first Bruno fight, only a few rounds longer and without Tyson getting rocked early on.

The Durable Dane Nelson had true grit. I'm not saying he would drag that punk Tyson into deep waters and drown him.

But I'm not not saying it, either.

Simon would have to spoil. His only concern should be trying to survive the distance and lose a UD, not trying to win because Simon trying to win against prime Tyson likely would be a dummy mission.

Yep, that's pretty much what I'm thinking. My only reservation is maybe Simon could hit harder than I think he could, and might have an outside chance to land a hail-Mary shot stiff enough to rock Tyson and look a little better in losing.
