    Less athletic?

When did Ali ever fight for three hours?

It’s really like placing two athletes from completely different sports together.

The only thing I worry about is his focus on the head as his target. Did Ali ever break a hand? He certainly could learn the clinch game easily enough.

Ali would bully Sullivan, much bigger, much more skilled, much more speed. I mean Corbett was said to be too scietific for Sullivan so what's going to happen when he faces Ali?

This is fantasy. He was in decent shape at 190. At 210 he had a big beer belly. No way was dropping 10lbs

Utter nonsense the rules are practically the same as are the skillsets required.

That is like saying that Leon Spinks brought too much pressure for Ali, so what is Sullivan going to do to him?

Sullivan was an empty shell when the fought Corbett, the fight means next to nothing!

Also that was a fight under Queensbury rules.
You are basing this assertion on which photographs and weigh ins exactly?
If you think that, then you don't have a clue what you are talking about!

Under LPR, a round only ended when a fighter was knocked down or thrown, and they had thirty seconds to recover.

Wrestling throws were allowed under LPR.

Most fights took place on grass, wearing spiked boots.

If that's what you think LPR looked like, you don't have a clue about LPR.

Bear in mind that Sullivan gets 30-38 seconds to recover any time that he goes down, and he can get that any time he wants, just by taking a knee.

That is why quick knockouts in LPR fights were virtually unknown.

Ali would have to be measured in his punches, or he would simply break his hands.

Ironically, the best argument in Ali's favor, is Sullivan himself!

Sullivan proved that a gloved fighter, could make the transition to bareknuckle boxing, with very little experience under the ruleset.

I have born in mind. Sullivan doesn't get up sometime within the first 10 minutes.

I don't think his footwork would work well with spikes, and a lot of his punching would be all wrong for bareknuckle.

So he takes the full count of 38 seconds, somewhere inside the first ten minutes, and is too stupid to improvise a way to save himself, when he can get a 38 second break any time he wants?

If Sullivan was an expert in Judo you may have somewhat of a point. He wasn't, he was a 5'11 190lb man in shape with vast disadvantages in weight and strength.

Ali damaged the similarly sized Patterson's back in the clinches. He'd absolutely batter and ragdoll Sullivan

You're overestimating a man's pain threshold when vastly overmatched.
