What's your views on this? Some argue no because the heavies nowadays are too big, but I think a small HW (i.e. Tyson, Frazier, early HW Holyfield) could actually excel better than people think given some of their feats.

AJ has a resume full of top contenders with around 10 title defenses and his resume is called trash. So I don't think anyone could excel in the mind of a modern boxing fan.

I don't think any HW aged 22 could beat Mike Tyson, maybe just maybe Ali might have been able to dance around him.

Wilder Vs Mike Tyson is who detonates first which you'd favour Mike.

AJ would wet himself prior to the bout and not make it to the ring he'd be one of them losers who lost before they even got in the ring.

Fury would beat him quite comfortably as would prime Holmes. Drag him deep then drown him.

Of course Fury might be problem for Tyson though as Tyson could easily be tied up, and Tyson might struggle with much bigger man mauling him on the inside.

But apart from Fury I'd make Tyson a favourite against every other current Heavyweight.

I would assume the 88 version of mike tyson would destroy any of current hw,s , including fury .

They can win some fights, sure, but they won’t dominate.

Yes. The top guys bar Fury have obvious shortcomings, and a lot of the top ten is untested in real fire.

Blueprint is out there for how to beat Tyson. I doubt he would have much success.

Very few guys today could hang with a prime young Tyson. Fury and Usyk are the only ones I give a chance, I don't care how big everyone else is.

Fury and Usyk are the ones I can see really trouble a peak Tyson. And Wilder could always land something, but Tyson had a great chin.

Who knows. But on the other hand who knows what would have happened if Tyson had stuck around in the early 90's? The era he did dominate was quite short and somewhat transtionary with several of the best guys of the early-mid 80's fading out.
