Could he beat any of the champions like Phillips, Mora,Dinzinruk, Forrest, Spinks, and maybe Santos for the third time.
If he still had effective power at that weight? sure. If he didn't carry his power... than no. He'd just be an iron chinned punching bag with no real offense.
Third time????? I was ringside. That's not what I saw. Cuts were ugly. First one was NC. Second was was close, but I had Santos ahead.
And let me say before anyone say something about the fight being in Puerto Rico. The judges were:Rocky Young, John Stewart and Samuel Conde. Only one Puerto Rican. No like Chavez Jr./Vanda fight last night that all judges were from Mexico. Including one on his very first fight as a judge.
I don't know ... there are some pretty good boxers at 154 ... he can't beat Snatos ... Spinks ... Mora ... or Duddy ... there are some small MW's there and they have pop. I don't think he could beat a guy like Bunema, Karmazin, or Simms ...
Nope , just like Hatton, Margarito biggest advantage is his strength and size once he moves up in weight he will lose that advantage to fighters that are just as big and strong if not stronger then he is. His lack defense all around boxing skill will only be magnified at 154.
