Who said it would have to be in the UK? It could be in the USA, North Korea or even Congo.

And if it was in the UK the reason it want sell 80,000 unlike mega star Groves nobody knows who Ward is, and those that do know he's a PED cheat and in the UK we know Ward wouldn't get away with it and we would favour Froch to beat him down in a fair fight.

If it was Groves that was a PED cheat, I'd call him out, but it's not as Groves under the British Boxing Board of Control is subject to year round testing even when he doesn't have a fight scheduled.

 

Correct. Nobody knows who Ward is. That's why he does abysmal TV numbers and doesn't sell out small arena's. Nayoue Inoue beat Omar Narvaez the other day to win a title in a second weight class in just 8 fights- a record- when you are at McDonalds later tally how many of your colleagues and customer have heard of him.

Yes. Hence Groves does better TV ratings and sells out arena's and is a household name in the UK and Ward is not even a household name in his own house.

He did say no to random drug testing. Testing someone after the fight is pointless as drug users know when to complete their cycle. The CSAC did the testing for Brook- Porter fight requested by Brook- they didn't test Porter until a couple of days before the fight despite having a month to do it- and it wasn't random as they gave Porter notice as to when it would be.

That kind of shady behaviour toward drug testing from the commission is why Ward isn't willing to travel outside of it's jurisdiction.
