Could Andre Ward sell out an 80,000 seater stadium like George Groves did?

    I don't believe it was entirely Froch. I think the fight just captured the imagination of the casual public and with the first fight doing so well, I even had non boxing fans saying to me that they wanted to see a rematch just because the first fight matched the hype. Controversial also causes interest and with the controversial stoppage in the first fight, I think made people want to see the rematch even more. The end result of all of that made it a 80,000 sell out. It was promoted very well.

    Nope. Nobody over here knows who Ward is and, not many people in the USA (hence his poor buyrates) with Ward having the personality of a damp squid so nobody would be interested in the build up either.

    You just can't handle the fact that Groves is a bigger name than Ward. :hi:

    So how come every Froch fight has sold out 80,000 seats if Saint George had nothing to do with it. The only fights Froch has sold in the last few years that was down to him and him alone with a no name opponent was Ward and Yusaf Mack. :hi:

    Ward couldn't get 80,000 inbred Oakland chumps to watch him to fight for free. He doesn't even get 80,000 viewers on TV :lol::lol:

    If Ward was selling out a stadium it would have to satisfy these 3 conditions:

    1. A fighter who was thought to have a legitimate shot at winning.
    2. A fighter with a massive following at home (JCC Jr. in Mexico MAYBE, Stevenson in Montreal MAYBE, Froch/Groves/Degale in their home city MAYBE).
    3. A fighter that had already beaten him or came damn close.

    Biggest money fight for Ward would be Froch in the UK, huge money fight, but Ward will not fight outside his home town with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. Ward is afraid of Froch outside his home town. After all Goosen did for Ward, look what Ward did to him. Ward appears to be a bad person......................Is he retired? Ward refused to fight Stevenson at 168 and refused to fight Kovalev, but wants to fights small fighters in lower weight classes...............Ward is a fake hero............

    Who wants to fight Ward in front of 2,000 of his own fans for nothing?
