Could Anthony Joshua be the first champion to retire with a 100% KO rate?

LOL! There is something in this post which does have some credibility, Izu did get knocked around bad by Breazeale when he got ahead of himself trying to go for a KO instead of sticking to his boxing - being wreckless and having a glass jaw don't go well together when fighting someone that big.

 

If he pulls out of the Klitschko fight and retires right now then sure. Anything is possible.

 

Izu is better skilled than Breazeale however he will always get hit and next time Breazeale may be in shape. Breazeale also scored the first knock down and he let Izu off the hook first. Im not sure who i would take in a rematch until they fought again,but Breazeale like the first time for me is favored,he can punch and take one to give one. Izu is a true threat who has great power i picked against him bc of Breazeales durability.

I know people would sleep on both Breazeale and Whyte had they not continued to win after Joshua. This will be the COMMON mistake..Joshua beat then ,therefor they are bums. Im sure Martin would have also went on a winning path too.The fact is Joshua will make everyone look average alot that's bc hes REALLY good! Just don't tell anyone on here they might catch on and actually give him credit though i know there will always be an excuse why he wins.....

The thing is Joshua himself can and has been knocked out. Joshua can defintely do it if he fights 12 rounders against lower level glass jawed fighters but its truly testing times now for the big puncher with his step ups to come.

We are about to find out a lot about what AJ can and can't do on April 29th. Let's re-evaluate things after that.

 

Yeah Wladimir has been smashed to pieces well over 10 years ago. NOt like he's the same fighter he was back then. Joshua best win is vs Charles Martyn so that should tell you something.

No sports bettors are going to put a 41 year old who has been knocked out in a actual REAL pro fight before and lost his last fight along with his best performance was 2/3 years ago vs a young knockout artist who averages 3 rnds per fight and is rapidly improving.Anything else other than Joshua being the favorite wouldnt make sense win or lose.

 

And who exactly has Joshua faced? Domestic competition and a guy who didn't deserve the title.
