Could Anthony Joshua be the first champion to retire with a 100% KO rate?

You don't have to repeat why the odds are the way they are I understand that. I just don't agree with it. I think people are sleeping on Wladimir because he's abit old and his past perfmance he looked bad.

 

ANd Joshua hasn't faced a single opponent with a heartbeat. Think about that for a second.

I don't think he could knock out Ortiz, every other active heavyweight I think he could spark out but there's something about Ortiz that makes me feel like he's never going to get knocked out.

Foreman got ko'd because he was tired and was fighting in hot humidity in Zaire ****ing Africa. Tyson was beating Douglas until the knockout and was not the same fighter he was 2 to 3 years earlier when he had better guidance around him. The Mike Tyson of the Douglas fight was on all type of drugs and arrogant. A head hunter. The best version of Tyson from '87 to '88 was a great counter puncher and had magnificent defense.

History itself shows age beats experience almost always.The only thing you can compare this too is when 42 year old Holmes defeated Ray Mercer in HIS 19th fight as an undefeated fighter.However this is a mega fight and Joshua is not Mercer hes MUCH more and wont be overlooking Wlad with so much at stake.

If you think Wlads favorite bc of who Joshua has fought ,well my advice is to look a little better on the ACTUAL fighters themselves if thats what you are counting on,because they are not fighting each others opponents they are fighting.

 

Mercer will still be a better win for Larry then Joshua for Wlad if he wins.

Why? Simple - he beat better guys going in

AJs record so far consists of guys no better than Tyson beat during his first year as a pro.

 

A win over a dominant champion like Wlad in 19 fights is no comparison here....if Joshua wins he still beat a better fighter than Mercer or Holmes and if Wlad wins the same,he beat a far superior fighter to Mercer who himself was below the top tier guys so im not sure where hes even relevant here.

An example of this is Lennox Lewis in his 19 fight he struggled and couldn't k.o Billups who was little/not a power puncher and 38 years old journeyman.This should put into perspective how advanced Joshua is to that of the great Lewis was. Get used to joshua win or lose bc he will be around a LONG time.
