Lennox wins that the vast majority of the time, but if McCall was able to one-shot Lewis, the possibility certainly exists that AJ could as well. It's the only way we've seen Lewis lose.

I would favour Lewis 9 times out of 10, but the answer is yes. If you are talking pre Ruiz Joshua, he had confidence in his ability to recover. Look at the way he recovered vs Wlad. Of course he could have landed a hard fast shot and stunned Lewis.

I don't want to say that Lewis beats Joshua like he did Michael Grant, but it says something that was one of my first thoughts. I think Joshua may be too one dimensional for Lewis, if that's the right word.

Prime for prime this likely looks like Lennox taking control early with the jab.
    Keeping AJ cautious.
Joshua would have his moments , especially if he lands combination s , but Lewis was excellent at shutting that down.
Over the course of the fight, Lewis would break him down, I see him stopping him around the 8-10 stage.
As good as AJ can be for me Lennox is just the more complete fighter , smarter, more adaptable and better at controlling elite opponent's.

I'd say so too,he doesn't fetch anything that could defeat a Prime, focused LL.

It's always a possibility of course, but I don't think Lewis would take the fight lightly.
    He'd be Lazer focused imo.

Lewis would be a clear favorite, but if McCall and Rahman can one shot Lewis, AJ could do it to. Wouldn't bet on it tho.

Joshua has the power to score a KO with a lucky punch. So in a round about way, yes. Yes he could beat Lennox Lewis. Is it something I’d favor him to do ? No..

I would favour Lewis as the more natural and proven fighter. THAT SAID, it's clearly also very obvious that AJ is a huge, very powerful and technically correct fighter who has the cannons to sink almost anybody with the right punch. Lewis had an OK, but not great chin, well within reach of AJ to obliterate. Let's put it like this: I think the best version of AJ beats both Rahman and McCall.

I think Lewis shuts him down, physically and mentally.

    On the right day possibly.

But I would pick Lennox more than not he just proved himself more.

The only way it could happen is if Lewis is at a 'McCall (I)' level of maturity, with a 'Carnival City Casino' level of conditioning, and his corner instructs him to keep his eyes closed.
