Could any boxer in history have beaten Vitali K. in a MMA bout?

A lot of the earlier champions did a ton of wrestling.

 

Jeffries, Johnson, Jeremy Williams, Danny Hodge, maybe Carnera and Berlenbach. The bigger guys who trained in wrestling or judo. I'm sure there are plenty of others.

Holmes double legs him (former st. champ wrestler) and pounds him out. Larry is the GOAT boxer who should have fought MMA.

 

IIRC Vitali did get Ko'ed via head kick and Crocop had that triple attack down.

 

IIRC Mark hunt survived THAT headkick at @2:03. Hardest chin I've ever seen in any sport.

Vitali only threw with his lead leg, a few right high kicks could have made him great.

If Holmes was a legit wrestler then he may indeed have been a badass MMA guy. Wrestling and boxing are GOOD bases for MMA.
