movin up in weight would be bad for him. but any fighter moving to 160 to fight him, well he has awesome power for a middleweight. i don't think think anyone could handle is power. but i really wanna see him vs winky who has an impenetrable defence.

you seen what a welter weight with some power did to winky he wouldnt make it to the end of the 10th rd with pavlik. pavlik got the reach and that was what winky had a problem with p williams. on the other question i dont think so cause none of pavliks middle weight fights have went the distance.

I think Winky could have beat Pavlik. Maybe not now, because Winky seems to have slided a lot. But Winky had skills, and as we saw against Hopkins, Pavlik has few answers against skills.
Arthur Abraham would stand toe to toe with Pavlik, and would have knocked Kelly out; but he's not at middleweight any more.

lets not blow KP power outta proportion now. he does have it no doubt but if i member correctly the second fight JT seemed to have handled it quite well if u ask me. we shall see if young bucks like pirog, golovkin and macklin fare

If Winky is still 75% of the fighter he once was, and he puts in a good performance on the night, I think he could beat Pavlik quite convincingly.

Sure. He can bang but it's accumulative more than anything. If Winky gets his legs back I don't think Pavlik would stop him.

By handle do you mean take it?Or take it away?

    Taking it maybe Winky.

Taking it away maybe Golovkin and N'Dam N'Jikam.

tommy, every mw he has fought has been stopped. 36 fights, 32 kos...and of the fights that didnt end in a ko, none were at the mw level, they were all above it...even if only by a few lbs

AA with his Winky esk guard and his younger fresher legs.

The real question would be is if Pavlik could handle AA's power.

That would be the obvious choice if the TS hadn't mentioned ''who is fighting at 160''.

Well, if you wanna be anal about it, that's true. But Anthony Ivory is and was a middleweight and Pavlik didn't stop him, Edson Madrid too. That was pretty poor going against a guy who got iced by Ishe Smith in 1½ minutes barely 3 months later.

    That's what confused me.

I think there's probably quite a few fighters who'd knock out every opponent aswell if we are merely talking about them repeatedly getting hit in the face flush with combinations.
