Could any other heavyweights dominate Frazier like Foreman?

Prime Tyson is the only guy I can think of.

73 Frazier? I'd say Liston, Louis, Dempsey maybe Tyson. That's it.

I'd go with Lennox Lewis, Tyson, Fury, Liston and probably Louis. Probably Wlad too. If he can't get out of the way of Wilder's big shots he's getting KO'd too

Liston could. And probably would imo, moreso than Mike.

Lewis does it as well imo. I can also see Riddick Bowe doing to poor Joe too.

Frazier`s head movement was something Lewis never faced, Lewis hold a lot when Joe got in close though, that would stop Lewis from being stopped but also stop Lewis from getting the early stoppage, don`t forget Lewis got warned twice early on for excessive holding v Tyson.

Joe had a much better defense than Bowe and may have stoped Lewis early, he certainly would have panicked him with those hooks, specifically to the body, Lewis never faced a great body puncher.

I agree. I would also add the Klitschko brothers. They were very good at using their height and length just like Lewis. Riddick makes sense since he can fight really well on the inside as well as outside if need be.

I wouldn't pick the Klitschko's, personally. Wlad would win imo, based on shutting down Joe's offence with his length and clinching. Wlad never really went out and blasted someone out, he didn't often make a statement. I don't see why I should pick him to do so here.

Vitali was similar, except slower and easier to hit up-close since he didn't rely so much on clinching. I think Frazier would get under his arms and chop his body up. I'd pick Joe on points in a tough fight. Vitali definitely didn't have the demolition job power like Wlad did, I can't see him taking Joe out either.

Wrong as usual. You said Lewis never faced a great body puncher? How about 24 rounds with Evander Holyfied.

Yeah I don't know that either stop Joe but I could see Vlad in particular keep Joe outside with his length and winning most rounds. The biggest strength about the Klitschko boys was their intelligence. Both would strategize to take away that left hook and what better way then to use the jab/straight right (Vlad) or sheer Size and strength/mauling (Vitali).

Then again, I could see a scenario like you described where Joe makes them **** blood with body work.

George had a great style for Frazier. He was physically stronger and bigger and he hit just as hard. Joe was probably quicker, but George was so strong Frazier couldn't regroup to land anything. I don't see anyone with this same style who could walk through him like this. It reminds me a little of Rosario vs. Bramble. Once Bramble got tagged Rosario was hitting him with all of his punches and Bramble had no where to go but down.

I didn`t think Holy`s body punching was as good in those bouts as Frazier`s was in TFOTC.

Joe was better on the inside than Bowe because he was harder to hit on the inside, Bowe was wide open.

    Probably not quite like that!

Somebody like Louis or Liston, would have taken a more measured approach, and they would have taken longer, perhaps giving him his moments on the way.

Somebody like Dempsey or Tyson would have had to mix it with him, and that would have at least made it competitive.

Somebody like Lewis or Wlad would have hidden behind their jab.

Even if it turned out that Max Baer had the tools to do it, he would have fought in peaks and troughs, and that would have given Frazier his moments!

Perhaps Joe Frazier really was unlucky enough to share an era with his nemesis!
