This means nothing. Every fighter ages differently.

Muhammad Ali was an empty shell at 38.

Does this mean anything when surmising what would happen if he fought Holmes prime for prime.

Extremely weak argument on you part.

Comparing what defenseless blown up Gatti could do against Floyd to what prime Chavez could do against Floyd is like comparing how the Washington Generals could do against the early 80s Boston Celtics to how the early 90s Chicago Bulls would do against the early '80s Celtics.

You don't seem to get that I was mocking Blade for being an idiot.

The argument against Floyd relates to him beating the most accomplished lightweight of that era twice. Other fighters aren't held to that kind of standard and he's beaten plenty of pressure fighters without issue. Julio is the one with a chink in his armor (against boxers).

All your points are so empy of substance, it is simply not worth discussing with you further

Floyd struggled twice against Castillo, losing the first fight by most accounts. Yet Chavez is much better than Castillo. You haven't answered to that because you simply can't.

Certainly not without issue. It is the only style Floyd struggled against.See his fights with DH, Castillo, Maidana.

Your comparision between Taylor and Floyd was ridiculous. It only shows that your boxing knowledge is limited.

I don't think Floyd is great, but his style is not good for a Duran or Chavez. He would beat either guy at 147.... and probably 135.. 130 for Chavez? I think Floyd edges it, but he was not very experienced then.
