    Morris, Levinsky, miske,Carpentier, Sharkey,Tunney, and willard after the bout said dempsey was the hardest hitter they fought. Gibbons did say .."lord how that man can hit " Brennan similar sentiments..."golly how that guy can hit."

    Grantla d rice asked max beer if Louis hit him hardest he said no Dempsey hit him hardest in training camp...they would spar once in awhile
