Could anyone from 168 in recent past be able to last the full distance or beat beterbiev?

    I had Kovalev winning and he's my 2nd favorite fighter ever, but if Kovalev had been stronger physically he wouldn't have gotten rough housed inside. Kovalev is an ATG in my opinion and extremely skilled, but he his downfall was bad conditioning. He didn't have good stamina or strength.

    Beterbiev will ragdoll Ward if he wants to roughhouse.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Ward outboxed Beterbiev for most of the fight, only to get broken down in the later rounds.

    If Ward believed he can beat all these guys (Bivol, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev) he wouldn't retire.Maybe he would have chance against one of them, but against all of them - no way.And he knows that.

    They're 2 years apart in age lol. Beterbiev had 300 amateur fights.

    People make these kind of arguments constantly. I'm not sure if it's gaslighting or they really are ignorant.

    Beterbiev's hype atm reminds me of Inoue's before the latter had his fight with Donaire.

    Except Beterbiev is the far superior fighter. He didn't get taken to the brink by a 36 year old has been. He just knocked out an elite fighter in his prime.

    Lol I ain't gonna argue who's better. I just find it amusing cause most of this forum predicted Gvozdyk to beat Beterbiev, and he got knocked down by Callum Johnson before that. I'm sure if Inoue dispatches of Casimero easily, he'll go back to the hype he had pre Donaire again where lots of people were saying he's unbeatable at his weight class to even 122.

    I too find it amusing too. I've been on the Beterbiev hype train for years long before he won a title. And I've said that Inoue is overrated for years too.

    I think it would have been possible.

    I’d have given Andre Ward a shot. Very crafty.

    Joe Calzaghe if he’d have stayed disciplined. Very fast, lots of stamina.

    James Toney with his great skills and great chin. Went on to beat world class CW’s and HW’s.

    Roy Jones was extremely fast and powerful. Very hard to hit flush due to his unorthodox style and athleticism.

    Beterbiev's not stopping Froch or Eubank. I'd give even money on them getting a decision over him. Calzaghe beats him on points.

    Obviously if Dre fought Artur he would need a minimum of a whole year to settle into the weight, home advantage, a home ref and a bare minimum of 2 home judges albeit it would most like be 3, but what happens when he tries to impose his physical strength with all that octopus grabbing and mauling and starts with all his dirty stuff against the way stronger, way way way harder hitting Artur who can not only punch holes in castle walls but who can do so from first bell to last without any noticeable dip in his stamina?

    And when Artur starts giving Dre a taste of his own medicine with the dirty stuff or when Dre does his customary ducking his head down between his knees and ankles (worm hunting) and Artur just keeps clumping him on any part of his head he can hit with six inch punches so heavy they could discombobulate an elephant? Dre's first line of defence octopus grabbing won't work because Artur will ragdoll his have gloves won't travel deck-stacking loaded dice rolling ass and neither will that other favourite line of defence of his either and, unlike Kov, Artur is a clean liver who has a 12 round tank not a six round one and one hell of an engine.
