Hmm. Lets see. A featherfisted small heavyweight and a past his prime legend both stopped him. Not hatin, but those are facts. Any top 10 HW ATG could of beaten him.

I reckon a prime Larry Holmes would stand a chance and perhaps also the best version of Riddick Bowe. It also depends on how the fighters perform on the night so you can't say a prime version of Tyson wouldn't have a chance to KO Wladimir, though on the other hand I could see it going the other way with Wlad shutting him out. Lennox I'd see as a 50-50 fight a lot of the time - he could get ko'd, but he could also stop either of them. Ali would most likely beat both on points.

Naw that IS hating a bit. Getting stopped by a shoulder injury and by cuts isn't just "getting stopped" - as in actually KO'ed. - Doesn't mean I'd favour Vitali to beat most of the ATG's, but you gotta give the man his due.

    You do.

There was a time when Vitali had generated legitimate excitement in the division and no doubt wouldve gone down far greater than his brother without the layoff. All things considered, probably Lewis' best win and it's a great one. He won the fight fair and square but wouldve had no problem further extending his legacy and adding to his generous bankroll without Vitali standing in the way. You cant blame him for it, but he defintely thought the better of it.

I think stylistically he does well against some of the oldies, I personally think he would frustrate Joe Frazier for example.

Lewis did beat him, its not hard to imagine a prime Lewis stopping him long before round 6.

VK would be terrififed of young Mike Tyson, who negate his jab with his head movement to get inside and once there go to work, I can honestly see a stoppage there.

ALi UDs him, Foreman stops him, Bowe stops him, Holyfield out fights him to a UD, Liston stops him.

I also think Wladimir would out jab him to a decision if push came to shove.

Tyson beat both brothers on the same night.

Guys come on , the speed difference would be just too much . Also not only the speed but Tyson's power would put Wlad to sleep and make V run away.

    peace.

    A prime Lewis.
As long as he doesn't get hit with something unfortunate a prime Lewis is THE BEST H2H heavyweight in my book, he had it all except a granite chin.
I know I will catch a lot of crap from the people who think the miniature heavyweights from previous eras could beat each and every man.

Noone could 'handle' a prime Vitaly.

But Ali, Foreman, Tyson, and Lennox would all have about an even chance of winning imo.

Bowe, no - not a chance.

The rest would have an even to fair chance.

Funny, you completely dismiss the first properly conqueror of a prime holyfield yet include holyfield?

Tyson beats the **** out of both Klitsckhos, seems some people forgot who this man was at his peak.

Vitali is by far the most overated heavyweight ever. He struggled with Dereck Chisora whose just a very poor mans Frazier

Prime George Foreman would beat Lewis and the Klit bros with ease. The Klitschkos aren't on the level of older fighters. Why are they so overrated on here?
