Bruno's chin, not glass like some say, but not sure Frank can hang with Tua for 10 or 12 round.
Bruno s punch was decent but he'd be meeting a guy with a solid set of whisker's.. so can anyone make a case for our Frank?

I think Bruno would have a good chance.

I might even make the version of the McCall fight a slight favorite.

Id like to think he could, but I have visions of him out boxing Tua, then disaster strikes.

Yup, I think Bruno on his best night, perhaps a mythical night when everything we saw in flashes came together, would handily beat Tua. Tua wasn't a Tyson, he was beatable with a strong jab and decent footwork, ring generalship. Lewis burst my Tua bubble. I honestly thought Tua would knock him out but from memory, it was one of Lewis easiest nights. He simply outboxed Tua. Bruno was much better than many remember him and could have done the same, with the benefit of hindsight and a unicorn performance....

We all know this probably ends with Bruno getting tagged in the later rounds by a left hook and falling to canvas as if wrapped up in a carpet.

Frank had a jab that could control the fight. If Tua just followed him about like Lewis he would get outpointed or possibility stopped busted up . Tua had the power to spark anything out .landing was a another thing

He landed on Lewis. Watch the highlights if you don’t believe me. Frank wouldn’t take it.

I disagree Bruno fell apart vs McCall late as he always does and had to hug on like an octopus as he was literally like a marathon runner falling at the line.

There's no way Tua would let Bruno get away with that Tua has KO power at any point in the fight especially dangerous power late on.

Bruno would probably be ahead on points and would trouble Tua with his jab but once Tua finds the mark and let's be real he only needs one flush left hook Bruno is done for.

Tua was out of shape vs Lewis.

And Bruno froze anytime he got hurt there's no way he would survive getting hit by a flush left hook from Tua, Bruno would get hit eventually and i don't see Bruno coming out unscathed for 12 rounds and it only takes 1 punch from Tua.

The question simply said 'could have beaten Tua'. The Tua of the Ibeabuchi fight? No, I don't think so. But the Tua of the Lewis fight. Definitely. So, he COULD have beaten Tua.... As you say, he could have walked into a poleaxe of a left hook also....

Bruno has a good chance if he can get his jab going.
Tua can be made reluctant to let his hands go ,
he got gun shy a times.
If Bruno got off early, which he was capable of doing.
his chances would be very good.

A poor version of Tua possibly yes but even then Bruno has to survive 12 rounds without being hit and when Bruno had poor survival instincts and poor stamina its hard me to favour Bruno honestly.

Bruno could and probably would outbox Tua, might even be winning handily, but somewhere, somehow, Tua is going to nail that chin and it’s going to be over. It might be from rounds 10 to 12 but it will happen. I simply don’t see Bruno surviving a full 12 rounds with Tua.

Tua was very beatable and generally struggled against opponents with reasonable fundamentals. But he had a puncher's chance against modest opposition.

I'd favor Bruno because he is not modest opposition, has solid fundamentals and, even though not many of Tua's weaknesses really play into Bruno's strengths, the latter's power and his jab would certainly be enough to keep Tua honest.

A breakthrough moment from Tua would always be a threat, as was the case against all his opponents. But that's not a good enough reason for me to bet on him to win.
