You can add Harold Johnson to the list already mentioned, also Billy Conn.

I would bet the house on a prime Jones Jr. at middleweight and super middleweight over anyone in history but at light heavy
a few guys would have given him trouble - Spinks, Foster, Charles.

His best weight is 168, I don't see anyone beating him there. However, that's mostly due to the fact that it's a very young division.

    supermiddle-safe bet

middle-less so. by a lot. i love roy but his middleweight career didn't show us NEARLY enough to rate him. it's like making a list of guys that could beat floyd at welter: there's no point because he's so unproven

At 168, I don't think anyone could have beaten him. He would probably lose against the best fighters of 175.

the only guys who could have challenge him, REALLY challenged him i think are fighters that never fought in the division cause it wasn't around.

charles, burley, conn and greb would have fought at 168 if it were around. but of the fighters since super middle has been around, none would stand much of a chance

    Michael Spinks
    Evander Holyfield
Bob Fosters hook on that glass jaw
    Gene Tunney
    Billy Conn
Ali when he was a lightheavy dont know for sure if Ali fought LT heavy as a pro may have early in career not sure?

That would be devastating. If Jones thought Glen Johnson brutally KOed him it is nothing like what Foster would do to him.

He was like Mayweather a little. He did not look for the risks and glory so he looked so unbeatable. Thomas Hearns or Michael Spinks and that level would have given him big trouble. When you fight the guys he fought he will look awesome. His best wins were Toney and Hill. But many legends were better than those two.
