CHavez is a much sharper puncher and many times more skill-laden than Hatton, and it took him a long time to bust Taylor up.

I can't see Hatton making the same headway, even though he will do his usual wrestling and roughousing to get his work in, which Chavez didn't do. This is simply a fight Hatton gets outhit 3 to 1 and he actually might find himself getting stopped towards the latter stages.

Meldrick was not invincible, but unless you either had supreme skills or something heavy to hurt him with, you're taking a loss.

Many fighters could have beaten Taylor.
Aaron Pryor and Manny Pacquiao would have messed him up IMO, although a fight with those two would have been one hell of a fight.

good description. he overwhelmed guys with his speed. frankly, that's why i see him having a very good shot against fighters who are flat out better and ranked higher, such as pac. he flat out has faster hands than pacquiao and tremendous movement. if he doesn't try to brawl or get him out there, i make him a very live underdog as pac's hand speed advantage, which saw him destroy hatton and dominate cotto, would be negated completely

His Philadelphia attitude would of cost him against Pac. You cant stand in front of pac unless youve got serious power
