Could Anyone Stand And Trade With a Peak Tyson from 1986-88

couldnt see anyone beating peak tyson in a slugfest not even prime foreman .

 

I'd back a peak George in that scenario. Would be a good fight while it lasts though.

Foreman has the best chance due to his reach, chin & power.

 

I think we've established that only Liston and Foreman have a chance. Frazier might if he lasts more than 8 rounds, but I doubt he'd last that long against Iron Mike.

 

People tend to overrate Tyson.

 

Whether he succeeds or not is a matter of opinion, but Rocky Marciano is definitely going to be standing toe to tou with Tyson, because that is the only way he knows. And unlless one of them is KOd, if anyone does the running and clinching, it will be more likely Tyson.

Not too many ones that come to mind are Young George,Motivated Ray Mercer and possibly David Tua, Ike Ibeabuchi,Oliver Mccall... Almost was gonna say LIston but on second thought Mike would win that shoot out.

 

I don't think Tyson would last 7 rounds with prime Frazier. Unless he stops prime Joe early which nobody ever did, Tyson would get a serious beating to the body and gets stopped himself.
