Could Barrera or Morales have defeated Salvador Sanchez?

    Very close, though i'd say the stylistic edge there is with Sanchez.he has the mobility, counterpunching and a measure of the outboxing ability the likes of Laguna, Winstone, Famechon etc could use to win rounds, along with terrific stamina, toughness and the late rounds rallying ability the boxer types often don't quite have.

    Saldivar is a superb technician as well, but Sanchez is probably the better pure boxer and mover. his versatility and better chin(not that durabilty was a weakness for vicente)might give him the needed edge in a fight where both combatants are at their best as aggressive counterpunchers.
