Could be Stevenson before Kessler for the Cobra

Just noticed it looks a done deal for May. My apologies, not so happy about this myself really, especially if it means Kessler doesn't happen, neither are really spring chickens anymore are they!

Be interesting to know why Kessler didnt happen. I guess Sauerland have all the power as they can make a mega fight with Abraham any time they like.

W*rren had to pay $3mil to get Kessler over for Calzaghe. So it will take big money to get him over for Froch and if they won't do Nottingham the max your getting in is 20k at the 02 or MEN.

 

It will be interesting to see what Froch and Hearn have to say when asked about why the Kessler fight isn't happening (for now anyway). For the last few weeks they've been saying negotiations were going well and that usually means the fight is more or less made, just a date and venue to be agreed and announced.

I honestly reckon Kessler has gotten cold feet and is pricing himself out. He and his promoters know they can make a tonne of easy cash by having him fight Abraham so they probably want to go that route instead of putting him in war with Carl. If this is the case then Froch and Hearn need to call them out on it. Forget all this trying to act pals. Something has obviously ****ed this deal up and they need to make it clear to the fans what it was.

 

They wanna stay on good terms.

 

I think someone needs to grow up a tad :roll:

 

It has to be made by April if he doesn't have a war he can easily fight in the summer.
