How would a young berbick have done against come back George. Could he have been rugged and durable enough to beat foreman? Foreman a year removed from his title fight with holy field vs the berbick that beat Ali.
I don't think Berbick has a good style to beat Foreman with. Berbick liked to use his strength but he didn't punch with much power. He had decent defense but he was usually coming forward. An old Foreman should be able to beat him.
Who would u say for example any one from the 80s would have had a decent chance at beating foreman in his comeback? Im thinking maybe a prime pinklon or witherspoon maybe.? Tucker may have had a high chance
Would like to have seen Douglas take him on. Perhaps after winning the title he gives foreman first crack at it instead of holy field. But would have to be Tokyo Douglas not the blob that turned up for a appearance with the real deal!
Who would have guessed Stewart would have had the success he had against Foreman in 92? Look at the way Stewart approached Moorer, Holyfield I, and Tyson? Marching out with that terrified look in his eyes, giving up his reach and getting clobbered. After he failed to put Stewart away, Foreman turned in an absolute garbage performance... . I don't have confidence in him beating many contenders in 92. Look at this crap... http://makeagif.com/gif/brutal-fight-knockdowns-george-foreman-alex-stewart-tsIoWx
Mike weaver would have been interesting, for a round or so! Weavers chin won't stand up to a clout from big George.
