Could Bernard beat Mikkel Kessler? Calzaghe doesn't think he could...

Kessler is all all wrong for Hopkins. Much more so than even Calzaghe.

I'd give Hopkins an outsider chance on a technicality like a cut but Kessler is all wrong for Hopkins. So so fast, pinpoint accuracy, great stamina and able to dish out punches while on the back foot. Totally wrong for Bernard.

 

In his prime.. it pains me but Hopkins...just about. Style wise its not going to be pleasant but I do feel a prime Hopkins has more than the current Kessler. Then again we might not yet have seen a prime Kessler.

Now? Kessler by a nice sustained beatdown.

 

McGrain old chap, care to explain how you see Hopkins beating Kessler now?

 

What makes anyone in good mental health think Kessler beats Hopkins?

Considering Kessler best wins were against averga eB list fighters like Beyer Mundine and Andrade, he has done absolutley 0 to suggest he can beat Hopkins.

Also after seeing keel over from a body shot from a guy who isnt an effective puncher at world Level, I expect Hopkins to re arange his face.

Kessler is one of the most over rated guys on this forum. Hes a good looking white guy....and people jump on the bandwagon because of this.

 

Hopkins trying to convince himself that he can't lost to Calzaghe always amuses me.

 

Hopkins just cannot cut the mustard anymore, he does not have the legs or the workrate to keep Kessler off him and he would eat 1-2's from the dane all day on the way to being stopped.

Prime Hopkins is a different matter.

 

Kessler would easily beat Taylor, that should answer alot about this fight, then again maybe Kessler and Taylor will fight after Miranda!!

 

Straight lines technician with faster hands and feet and is better at puting punches together than counterpuncher = a bad way for that counterpuncher
