Kessler would lose before the bell even rang. The press conference and staredown would do it

I dunno if Kessler could survive the right forearm, left elbow headbutt combination Hopkins uses with such precision.

Has Mikkel ever seen a fighter like that?

In 2008, Kessler beats Hopkins convincignly... It's very hard to be effective against Mikkel, too much speed, too tight defense and Hopkins throws half as many punches as Joe... even at his best, the great punch output was needed for Joe to win... Kessler beats anyone from MW to LHW...

By punching him in the face, repeatedly

He could very well stop this faded version of Hopkins. His flaws have been masked since the Taylor fight, because he's been fighting guys in even worse condition than himself. That was the last young guy Hopkins faced, and he lost, how's it going to look against a guy better than Taylor in every single area?

Against the precise powerful punching of a young fighter like Kessler, his slow footwork and inactivity could mean a stoppage

I'm so tired to read this. Looking at the past opponents and comparing them. That's only an indication. Gatti had fought many names before Mayweather, but he lost. Taylor was a bigger name than Pavlik, had fought tougher opponents. He lost.

Just watch again Tarver-Hopkins. Bernard looks so slow! Watch another fight in his prime, at 160. It's not the same boxer, so I don't ****ing care about all the bouts he won in the 20 last years. Try to look how things are today, not in the past. The guy doesn't have it anymore. Period.

    Kessler easily.

I think Hopkins would have a hard time but would beat Kessler at this stage. The point was that Hopkins didn't want to discuss the matter because he's interested in showing Calzaghe how he thinks he will beat him ( not explain him how he would do it or to Kessler, just show him). Basically, Joe came up with Taylor and Hops' losses to him ( or that it was 50-50, whateva), and Hopkins felt that Joe was saying that he could do the same as Taylor... Then, Bernard came up with that line that he would never lose to... You know, the conversation ended right there because he repeated it three times and loud.
