He hits as hard as a lot of them and seems to have an iron chin too

He could probably still give Usyk a run for his money...
As far as any real HWs , no chance

Despite my response below, I doubt he'd be a serious contender - however I could see him giving people in the fringe contender rankings some serious work, definitely someone who won't take a title but at the same time will give anyone who isn't title level or a generally big dude a real hard time.

Kinda contradicted yourself there - if he's going to give Usyk a run for his money then he's likely to be able to operate in the top 10 at HW. If a top ten heavy isn't a real HW, what is?

Im not sure what you base that conclusion off of.....
Has Usyk ever even competed against a top 10 HW?

We don’t even know if Beterbiev can beat a top cruiserweight. Usyk established himself as the best CW on the planet. The jump from CW to HW is big, the jump from LH to HW is almost impossible these days. I know Roy jumped and cherry picked a belt back in the day but that’s not what we are taking about. For the record, at 200, I believe Usyk easily beats Beterbiev.

The jury is still out on Usyk at HW but he is a bigger guy and he already unified at CW. Beterbiev would be foolish to make a two class jump to HW and fight a top talent. He’s the king of LH and it’s his prime weight. I hope he stays there and continues to give boxing fans great fights.

Usyk is a small heavyweight (look at his head size, wrists, hands, neck, overall frame compared to others) and he is around 4-5" taller than Beterbiev so Beterbiev is definately undersized as a HW.

However he probably hits hard enough to get their attention and through workrate alone (less mass to get exhausted) could probably TKO some of the lower level guys.

There're good fights can be made in his nearby class.

Sure hits hard, capable... strong as an Ox.

But too small tbh... the real question is campaigning at cruiserweight and not heavyweight. Just because he can make 91KG back in the AMS, doesnt mean he is a HW. Usyk is a small HW.

Imagine beterbiev taking on someone like Dillian Whyte... it would be crazy.
