No I don't think he can.

But he would work Canelo out and just manhandle him before the inevitable KO.

Even Bivol will outbox Beterbiev before getting chinned.

Probably the worst fight Canelo could take. For sure Beterbiev puts the work in training. Great jab. Not the best at range. Give Beterbiev a chance though and he's taking it. P4P Canelo probably has the best chin in boxing. Beterbiev stops him though

    Official scorecards (Beterbiev - Yarde):

    • Robin Taylor 66-67
    • Jerome Lades 67-66
    • Jun Bae Lim 65-68

    Yarde was ahead.

yes, because i believe canelo has lost a step. he's been in the game a long time. beterbiev power would be such that today's version of canelo would lose.

Yarde was well beaten by Beterbiev, it was a one-sided fight aside from one round where Beterbiev got hurt.

In my mind YARDE still has a lot to gain in experience and IQ but he is handful
for anyone in the first part of a fight.

Beterbiev had a few troubles early on BUT you sensed what was coming for Yarde.
Beterbiev closed him down, kept him pressured and broke him down very nicely.

I could see him doing the same to Canelo if the fight happened tomorrow.

(I don't even like typing the name 'CANELO' I'd call him 'that Alvarez'
if it didn't sound like I was a bit senile)
