With all the talk on this forum of Boxnation struggling and that Mr W is talking to other broadcasters couldn't Sky and Boxnation link up?

Boxnation can be used for the smaller overseas cards and small hall shows for the boxing hardcores and Sky could be used for the big uk cards and massive overseas shows. Boxnation could be like a feeder channel to Sky where undercards of big fights could also been shown live before the main event and a couple of good undercard fights could be shown on Sky.

Boxnation would benefit from the extra publicity that Sky would give it and also Sky Sports News would be an advertising avenue for Boxnation.

This way fighters like Burns and Cleverly could beome big stars instead of being hidden away on Boxnation and also us fans still get the overseas fights that Boxnation are currently bringing us.

Good idea but will it happen..?

Boxnation needs to link up with somebody.

And does it have to be Sky..?

It would be great, but no chance.

That "talk" has no solid evidence to back it up.

So Sky would get all the best stuff?

Whereas now, a lot of the big fights are on BoxNation. Not sure BoxNation would like that idea.

They need a highlights package on a terrestrial channel a la ITV4 for an hour a week.
