I was going to paste a question asking who would win this one, but evderybody would choose Foreman so I felt this would be a more interesting question, could Buster go the distance and how many rounds would he be able to win v George?

Looking at the number of threads on Buster Douglas on this forum you would think that he was one of the best boxers of all time. That is what beating Mike Tyson in his prime does to your level of fame.

'Big' George Foreman was 6'3 220lbs. He was not the physical monster that some people on here claim. Douglas would be slightly bigger than him. If Douglas boxes smart like he did against Tyson and keeps working that jab he could survive and maybe even score an upset.

Tyson would have beat Douglas if Rooney had been in his corner.

What exactly has Rooney done in boxing apart from his work with Tyson?

He carry on with Mike what Cus had been teaching him since the age of 12, none of the other fighters Rooney trained had that stellar background, nor did they start so young and Cus said he looked for a spark in fighters, Tyson had that, Vinny Paz didn`t, nor did he have Tyson`s power.

I see Tyson beating him in a fight similar to the quick tillis fight, but with a more resounding finish

Isn't that a given? You know with the question being could he make the distance

Surely if the certain point is the last round it's a certified yes.

Douglas was not a bum, may have had some not so great outings, but was a fine boxer. I don't care how many bad fights a guy has, if he has a great fight, shows great skills, then he is a great boxer. Buster fought a great fight against Tyson that night, showed boxing ability, cleverness, power, defence, anything u would want to see in a fighter. A masterclass!

Tokyo Douglass vs Venezuela foreman would be the battle of the century, I got buster busting him with a jab for 3 or 4 rounds then getting caught and knocked out, foreman hit harder than Tyson and Tyson floored him, and I dont think Douglass could hurt foreman, but if foreman gasses out in the late rounds buster could score another upset.

The main difference is that Foreman wouldn't get outjabbed by Douglas. George had better jab than Buster and that minimalizes Douglas chances here.

Foreman by a KO, tough to say when but I wouldn't bet on early one.
