Could Buster Douglas have gone the distance with a prime Foreman?

He didnt school anyone bro, it was a close fight when you factor in the damage gap and Young spent the whole time spoiling the fight, just running around with potshots and clinching like a madman. Pretty pathetic for a supposed masterclass, he fought like Haney lol.

You are wrong about Foreman vs Frazier 2 as well, Frazier merely fought more avoidant and he still got brutally KO’d pretty easily, he just lasted longer. I also see you bringing up the Peralta matches from Foreman’s early career, lets not get into Douglas’ early career as well. Struggling to hit Peralta is one thing, getting flatlined by Bey and White is another.

BD and Foreman are equally tall with similar jabs, only Douglas’ was faster while Foreman had a harder one and he was actually harder to hit when he jabbed as he would stick out his other hand to parry. Foreman moved better than Douglas, controlled the distance better and his pressure, framing and strength would smother Douglas’ offense. I can see you don’t like Foreman but he ain’t losing to Douglas.

How far would Foreman have gone if Cus had been alive during his title reign?

I wouldn't be so sure Young Foreman's jab was harder. Douglas scored knockdowns with his jab.

Yep. Holmes's jab was also quite a weapon. Liston apparently put a journeyman down with one, too.

Pretty ratified company for Buster's jab.
