Could Bute make it through his whole career without fighting one of the top guys?

You also need to cut the guy who's willing to do the big fights some slack until Ward, Kessler or Froch agrees. After you can **** on him. :deal
Until now he's the one who want's the fight the most it seems, him and Froch the rest are saying pass.

I should imagine that Ward and Froch are looking for bigger fights in terms of cash generated than fighting a nonenity that no one has heard of like Bute.

Bute will always price himself out of the big fights because he will never accept the thin end of the purse. He thinks he should get parity with the elite fighters and he never will until he beats at least one of them. If he was confident of winning he'd take the thin end of the purse and reap the rewards in his next fights. That's how boxing works.

    :rofl

Obviously the Dirrell brothers generate a LOT of money. Kessler? Not available until late in the summer.

Of course Froch has never beat an elite fighter as you put it, but what the hell...

Bute is a no-hoper nonamer worthless paper title holder, that's what it comes down to.

The gate revenues in Canada & Denmark, generated by Bute & Kessler's popularity respectively, are way higher than, for instance, a fight between the two S6 finalists. Put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.
