Could Calzaghe go for 50-0 by fighting HOPKINS, DAWSON, WRIGHT and KESSLER??

If Hopkins and Calzaghe have a rematch, in Cardiff or anywhere, I will make a wager with you that B-Hop wins.

Winky has no chance, Kessler and Dawson have a live chance, Dawson actually has a very strong chance considering he matches Calzaghe's greatest strengths of hand speed, stamina and workrate.

I don't think Dawson's work-rate is that good. Put an old ass man infront of him and he can throw punches, but under pressure and challenged? I don't think so, he didn't show that ability against Johnson, infact he tired real quick. Calzaghe can throw 1000 without thinking against any opponent, that is where Dawson does not match him.

You really think Hopkins can win a decision in Wales? If he fought the exact same way? Or do you think he can somehow change something to make it clearer, baring in mind he's 43 and has to compensate in certain areas and accept Calzaghe's work-rate?

Glen Johnson is tough for anyone. You should know that, as Calzaghe certainly did when he was pulling out.

I have to log off now, but look back on this thread and you will see my reasons for believing Hopkins would definitely beat Joe if they rematched. It's not a deep analysis, just my general feeling.

I know Johnson is tough, and I scored it for Dawson unlike many, but at the same time he hasn't shown that ability to have a consistent work-rate that matches Calzaghe against any style. It's a good work-rate, but you described it as matching an extremely good one.

I'll look out for that, because I'm struggling to see what Bernard does differently to win. Even if you scored it for Hopkins first time, you have to accept its going to be in Wales, and without burying our heads in the sand it ain't going to be any easier to get a decision there.

In answer to the thread title 1stly.....

I think it would be a tall order for ANYONE to take those 4 fights 1 after another, not impossible, but a tall order & to expect to come out 4-0.

Id give him a good chance vs any 1 of them in a single 1 off fight but to fight guys of this quality 1 after another without a big rest in between might be too much. He would defo need about 6 months between those fights & Because of Joe`s age (36, almost 37) its hard to see him being fresh enough age-wise by the time he gets to guy no4.

In all honesty, he can do without Wright on his resume (he beats Wright for me anyway), there is no need to re-beat Kessler as there was no controversy.... As a fan of both Calzaghe & boxing... its got to be Hopkins or Dawson.

Ps. if Joe did beat those 2 or even all 4... Im 99.9% sure that he would still not get the proper respect from some morons in America & ESB, boxing fans can be pieces of **** + real thick dumbasses at times.

How about **** the 50-0... I dont see it as that important a record when you consider that Chavez got to 87-0.

Joe wants to retire so I would suggest Hopkins v Dawson then IF Joe wants 1 more fight then he can beat the winner of that fight then he 100% would be the best LHWT... I see him as such anyway.

I think Joe has too great a workrate for both anyway. UD for JC vs both.

If it did, somehow, happen that Calzaghe went 50-0, beat Kessler and Hopkins again, then Dawson and Winky, where would you put him on your ATG list Pacfan?

p4p at mma Fedor destroys Calzaghe.

Fedor would not beat Calzaghe in a boxing ring p4p.

    He wouldn't? You sure?
Haha I can't believe we're disussing this seriously in this thread, but I'll give it a go.
Have you watched Fedor fight? Have you noticed his punching power? Have you noticed his granite chin?

MMA>>> Fedor destroys Joe in one round.

Boxing>>> It's a pick em fight. Either Fedor TKO or Calzaghe UD. :good

PS: There's no way Calzaghe "destroys" Fedor. Noone does that.
