I know it is a badly overused word, but you DKSAB. Griffin was an awkward career LHW who gave Roy trouble by roughing him up close. He kept the fight away from the center of the ring, repeatedly pushing Jones to the ropes. Does that sound like Canelo Alvarez, the habitual counterpuncher? Jaw will not save Alvarez from getting outpointed.
Difference being Khan's combinations are copy and paste, every single person knows what he's gonna throw, that's why he gets figured out eventually. No one could anticipate what Roy was gonna throw.
Dude....this is the worst way to try and assess a fight. You've heard the saying "Styles Make Fights?"
Here is Canelo getting a boxing lesson: This content is protected All I see is Canelo getting schooled by a 36 years old blownup welterweight who had no knockout power.
Not sure. What I will say is a though is Canelo has some of the best upper body movement I've seen. Also khan was being set up by Canelo. After round 2 he was happy to have khan throw in front of him as he was nailing body shots and the trap was set to let Khan get sloppy and slower.
But Canelo never even tagged Floyd, who beat him to the punch almost every time. Canelo at SMW is not going to beat Roy to the punch who handspeed may very well have been the greatest we have ever seen.
Del Valle dropped Roy, its hard to imagine Canelo not hitting Roy at least once or twice with a clean punch
