Yes. Ilunga Makabu, the WBC Cruiserweight champ, is relatively short (six feet), a southpaw, ducks really low when fighting, doesn't throw a lot, isn't particularly impressive, and has mainly fought a lot of untested guys with a lot of consonants in their names. And he used to be a light heavyweight, he isn't a heavyweight who drains down.
Maybe there would be a really weak belt holder he could pick off but going up to 200 would make continuing to succeed at 168 difficult.
He's welcome to step up and try. I'm sure Briedis, Makabu, and Goulamirian would love to welcome him to CW Level.
