he had a similar style to douglas. good jab, good height. tyson looked a lot sharper in that fight than the douglas fight

Carl came out and was not afraid to engage Tyson and actually threw his jab well at the shorter Tyson... Williams also threw some hard leather but ultimately his penchant for eating left hooks was his undoing.... i was actually very hopeful that the Truth would give
Tyson a good fight if he had kept his spacing established by the jab... but he couldnt

Williams left himself open to left hooks and had an average chin. We knew that about him BEFORE he faced Tyson, and Tyson re-emphasized it.

According to many people here, Tyson was past his best and ready to be taken already when he faced Williams, but I think he looks like vintage Tyson in there - one of Tyson's best wins.
Either way, Williams came up short.

That little headroll under the lazy punch, followed by a monstrous counter lefthook is one of my favourite punches, I've watched it over and over again!

Had it been the night of Buster Douglas, I would've favoured Carl Williams.

He looked good for a quick minute. Then Tyson connected and Carl's chin failed him......again.

Tyson looked alot different by the frank bruno fight. No more was he the unpredictable smart, combination punching fighting machine he was before spinx fight.

Exactly right. He almost looked like a different fighter after Spinks. BUT, Tyson sure looked awesome against Carl Williams. One of his best showings and best knockouts ever.
