What? GGG would destroy Crawford with ease, too much of a size difference. Probably would look similar to the Brook vs GGG fight.

Crawford isn’t even a big welter, Brook made him look small in there. 160 is a bridge too far. Having said that, GGG is there for the taking and Crawford is a very special fighter.

Right now of course, Prime GGG would be 50/50

If Derevyanchko who is tiny can give you the business of course Crawford can

The weight difference between Crawford and GGG is probably about 7-8lbs (ie. not as much as most think it is) seeing as GGG's average fight night weight is 170 and Crawford was coming in at 157 down at 140 and has obviously bulked up a lot since moving up. But to answer your question. GGG would spark him out cold. Beating a way past his best zero punch resistance Brook who hasn't fought at 147 for 3.5 years don't mean much lol

What Bud just did to Kell, GGG does to Bud. And goddamn would I love to see it. There's few people in this sport that's a bigger cherry picker than that dead eyed repulsive sociopath.

I just took a look at the fight.

Crawford gets malleted by Golovkin, even this old and creaky version.

Why? Well Brook was really controlling him with his jab, and his timing. Crawford was having all sorts of problems with that and Golovkin has a longer, stronger and better jab than Brook.

Moreover, look at the guys that have given Golovkin trouble. Canelo: speed, movement and defence. Jacobs: speed, movement and power. Derevyanchenko: speed, movement and angles. Crawford fights from a similar static back-and-forth stance as GGG. He's clearly a composed boxer with power.

However, he doesn't have the speed to trouble GGG and nor do I think he has the power at 160 to do so. He's trying to impose a similar sort of game as GGG. GGG may be slower than he was but he's still got good accuracy and a considerable size and power advantage. I think he's simply too big for Crawford.

I had Brook 3-0 up on Crawford going into the 4th, but sadly Brook's chin is now eggshells after GGG and Spence got through with him. Now, bearing in mind Crawford is a slow starter, that the fight was pretty close and that he's probably going to warm up later - I think Brook would still have had a good chance at the win with a better chin.

GGG cuts him off and breaks him.

BUT if Crawford carries the weight, he would outbox GGG.

    so it depends...

Listen, if ''Bud'' is really the best fighter on the planet and GGG is way overrated (and also old) and ''skillz pay da billz'' etc. etc., then people should encourage Crawford to call for that fight.

Because GGG isn't much bigger than Brook, even though that was the narrative to make Brook seem a hero. Brook is basically a draino 154 fighter and GGG is not a big MW and said he would do 154 for Mayweather, meaning he knows he could. Anyone who watched GGG Brook could see there was barely any size difference. There's was a bigger difference in the Jacobs GGG fight.

So going from 147 to 160 shouldn't be a huge deal in this case for Crawford. Horn went up to MW. And apparently Crawford is the greatest fighter in the world, a once in a lifetime talent. Crawford also has a 10cm reach advantage over Golovkin!

So Crawford's advantages over Golovkin are: Youth, foot speed, hand speed, skillz-dat-pay-da-billz, reach, being the greatest fighter on the planet. He also apparently has good power.

So shouldn't this be enough to overcome Bumlovkin, the Can-killer of Khazakstan?

If he needs to fix the fight with old Brook, he definitely doesn't believe he has the talent and power of GGG.Maybe the Kavaliauskas fight was the moment of true for Crawford when he and his promoters understood they should keep him away from (not fixed) tough fights. He will be the next Wilder or Canelo_Only money, without a risk.
