Haye's a long shot here but he's not retired, shot or an addict either. I think David's chance would be to use the speed and power he has straight away. Frank was never comfortable on the back foot and speed was something he was seldom exposed to. Terry Lawless made sure of that. Haye's got 4 rounds, 5 at the outside. Good fight actually.
Haye's got a bit of snap in his right hand that may discourage Bruno but I'm not prepared to hand him over the victory. Frank was also a big puncher. I'd favor him, Slightly.
Very hard for me to lean one way or another. Bruno was very textbook and strong as a bull with solid fundamentals, but could be very stiff and predictable. Haye was very unorthodox and explosive but could get discouraged and would go into survival mode if he got badly hurt, running or covering up and losing rounds for lack of activity. Bruno has the better jab and powerful right cross, Haye is better at throwing looping hooks from odd angles. Both guys have major issues. For Bruno, he had plenty of heart but lacked the chin to really stay in the fight when in serious trouble and didn't have the proper defense to survive other than simply clinching. For Haye, he could take a shot but had a glass heart. Both fighters would on occasion do "just enough to avoid losing" and have moments in rounds where they refuse to open up. It's not impossible that this goes the distance if both guys have a silent agreement to not hurt the other too much, but if I think what it boils down to is if: -Haye is confident and lets his hands go -Bruno establishes the jab and lands it frequently For Haye the keys to victory would be get in, get out. Go to the body, look for openings, land his signature looping hooks, and if Bruno is hurt pounce on him don't let him recover because he's a big dangerous guy. For Bruno it's jab and use his reach, keep a high guard, and try to time Haye with a right hand or uppercut as he dashes in. If Haye gets past the jab squeeze the life out of him in the clinches and tire him out. I think it would either be a very entertaining and close back and forth war if both men are in shape and confident, or it could be an ugly lopsided affair with both guys hesitating and staring each other down.
Thats a hard one. Haye dropped the **** out of Chisora LMAO. Chisora is no Bruno in terms of skill but he's a tough cookie. Haye is obviously an explosive counter puncher and styles make fights but I think people are too hard on Brunos chin. This can go either way. Bruno was very methodical but he still gave Lewis problems.
Same here, if Haye does get the win I see it being a late stoppage. Maybe a little like the Witherspoon ko, with Frank totally finished along the ropes.
Bruno probably beats Haye up early or has Haye running out of the ring all night. Honestly, Bruno wasn't good at all but he's better than Haye. Haye has a puncher's chance but Bruno has that as well and a lot more chances.
I have taken a few IQ tests and I have gotten scores as high as 136. I'm an A student at my college. And I frequently get likes on my posts and praises for my excellent writing and analysis. Can we get back to boxing? You have this habit of not addressing what someone wrote. Haye lacks heart. You haven't presented anything to prove otherwise.
He wanted no parts of old Briggs for whatever reason. Briggs confronted him multiple times, made memes about him, and hounded him at press conferences and he made every excuse not to fight him.
Briggs was always a mouthful and a coward imo. He never beat anyone but Liakhovich out of sheer luck .. Briggs didn't deserve to fight Wilder, Haye or Wlad .. Who had he beaten to deserve the fight?
