If a solid but unspectacular guy like Tony Thompson exposes you than I would say no. For all the physical gifts Price had, I've never seen someone more lacking in the intangibles needed to be a pro boxer. It's not so much losing, lots of guys lose, but those losses WRECKED Price and if it wasn't TT it would have been anyone else he stepped up against.
No, accident waiting to happen. When he came out of the Olympics, I saw his size, amateur pedigree, and power and I asked everyone if he was going to be another Lennox. Someone told me flat-out even at that point that he didn't have the chin. Wish I could remember who to give credit. Now, contrary to a lot of boxing lore, the chin can be improved. It's shocking how many boxing trainers don't know this. But to my knowledge Price and his crew never tried to address the problem.
Lennox was stopped once as an amateur. I am assuming his durability got better. But that had more to do with defense i think.
