Cormier had a lot of success against Jones in both of their fights. In fact, he was arguably winning or at least even in both fights until Jones made tactical and strategic adjustments. There's obviously no question that Jon Jones was in another class as a fighter, but no fighter, no matter how great, is unbeatable. What do you guys think? In an alternate universe, would Cormier still have a realistic chance to beat Jones or was Jones always his kryptonite no matter how many times they fought? at heavyweight yes at 205 maybe. LIke if we coould put them in a simulator for 100 fights DC would probably win a few.
Maybe at HW. DC just performed different there, and that's a tremendous compliment considering how amazing he was at LHW.
