Could De La Hoya Knock Out Margarito?

    I don't see any possibility of this happening. However, I'm sure the vegas line will be somn around 10-1 (if the fight happens...which means there is a chance of a DLH KO).

    Q #1...Do you think Oscar De La Hoya has a chance (even the slimmest of chances) of KOing margarito?
    #2...How will he have to do it?

    DLH would fare better against Margo. I guess he would have to follow a blueprint against Mayorga. Margo likes to come forward and gets hit a lot. I wonder if Margarito's chin can stand to people his own size at 154 and 160. I doubt it.

    The only way I see it happening is him catching Margo, late in the fight with a big left hook. Margo has a great chin, but he has been staggered before and he is human. I don't think it's likely but it's foolish to say the guy who dropped Mayorga with a single left hook can't shake up Margo. Small chance, not likely though.

    Just to be clear I don't think one shot will end it. I think it will stagger him and then Hoya could jump on him and the fight be stopped.

    no way. I'm sure Oscar will get his shots in there but he wont drop Margo, a Prime Oscar might of had a better chance.

    people say that dlh wont fight margo maybe oscer even said that in the past, but personaly i dont think he expected margo to win. now that margo is calling him out i bet he will step up to the plate. good fight i see oscer slipping away with a sd win buy i wouldent bet on it.:good

    No. He couldnt knock out little Forbes, no way he knocks out Margarito. Hoya cannot beat Margarito, you gay ass OScarsexuals. Otherwise, he would have been at the Post Fight Press Conference, calling his ass out.

    No, De La Hoya is not a big puncher. You'd need someone with Tszyu's power to KO Margarito.

    Why would Oscar call him out? Oscar doesn't call anyone out, he decides who he wants and then offers them a fight. The forbes fight has NO bearing on a possible Margarito fight. Those two are on opposite of the boxing spectrum I don't think there is a better example of two completely opposite boxers so only a jackass would use the forbes fight as an example of what would happen in the Margo fight.
