It's possible! The left hook could KO almost anyone. But I see a skilled DLH boxing a great fight to try and pull out a UD. I'd have to lean towards Marg in this one only b/c I think DLH is a bit past it right now. But DLH is clearly the more skilled fighter...I'm just not sure how his stamina would hold up.

The left hook is golden, but margo is tough as they come he probable could take a couple of klitscko right hands before falling. It would be a GREAT FIGHT if they fought one for the memory banks.

De La Hoya's best bet would be to score some early KD's and sit on a Pt's victory late.
Oscar would not be allowed to rest in a Margarito matchup.

These two are defo not stranger's to eachother...
They are ex sparring partner's who know alot about eachother's style.

I don't see Oscar taking this fight as his final hurrah, simply because
De La Hoya would not want to fight Raza as his final fight in the sport.
(I feel Margarito would be the crowd favorite at this point)

lol, dont you sometime wonder how some of these knuckleheads get by in life.
great comparisons since margo and forbes have the exact same defense and only someone with tszyu's power would be able to ko margo, lol.
seriously though, yes dlh does have a chance of ko'ing anyone under 154 if he catches him flush but no i dont think he will take the necessary risks to put himself in a position to do so.

As long as Oscar lives in Puerto Rico, ANY Mexican would be crowd favorite against him!

prime oscar may have had an outside shot off stopping margarito, now not a in chance in hell, i wouldn't even fancy him to win never mind stop tony. The only welter in the last 20 years i would give a decent chance off knocking margarito out would be trinidad

I don't think Oscar has what it would take to get the KO vs Margo.

A few years ago he might have been able to get it done, but not any more.

power's the last thing to go in a fighter and margo is easy to hit.

I think it's an interesting question. The answer lies in whether or not Oscar can land his left hook to the body early and often. I'd say that would be the only way he'd stop Margo, and the stoppage would not come unitl late in the fight. Kind of a Joe Frazier "kill the body and the head will die" strategy.
