Aww struck a nerve because I listed Wilders actual weight? Lol

    I didn’t weigh him in!

Feeling chummy in the ol’ “There will never ever be another sub-220lb HW champ again” club??

Oh yeah, I forgot, Wilder is the only fighter in history to be exempt from being measured in size by his weight.

If only we had height classes. Darn.

Your name alone should answer the OP's question

The willful denial that the guy is a giant might be my favorite and most amusing development on this board of the past year.

    Enjoy the fight, Rez. Cheers!

I guess that Bob Foster was a giant then!

Maybe he was a giant for a light-heavweight fighter.

Seamus is basically trying to dismiss weight as a factor, and saying that a fighter is a giant based on height and reach alone!

Obviously he hasn't figured out how bad this would be for his argument in the long term!

Nah, you must have gotten me mixed up with someone who gives a **** about that kind of thing. Quite a few of my favourite h2h heavyweights were under 220Ib but I just think it funny that suddenly a guy like Wilder has become the flagship bearer for 90% of all the debates that you’ve had on here for almost the last 10 years. It’s like suddenly your entire credibility on the board rest with a loose cannon like Wilder. This is the guy that you waited years for? Cmon you gotta see the funny side of that.

I think it is now time to do what they do in the amateurs and create a superheavy division, the over 230lb division because of the gigantic heavyweights these days. We could still pair a match between the two divisions when a great fighter emerges from the Heavyweight division to fight a Superheavyweight. Hard to say how a fast fisted hard punching Dempsey would do, it seemed he did very well against the bigger guys of his era like Willard and Firpo etc but struggled with the smaller men. I think Great fighters in lower weight classes would beat good fighters in higher divisions like Duran a natural 135lber moving up or Armstrong winning titles in multiple divisions or in modern times SRL

He held Fred Fulton to a draw, back when Fulton was the #1 contender.

He would have been up for a fight with Bowe!

The Miske that fought Dempsey was a very sick man. Read the Moyle biography. Bowe would have murdered that version... and probably any other version of Miske. Wake up.
